Today is March 21st, 2024 and today in particular I would like to remind everyone why I started my work with the blog in the first place my sister was diagnosed in I believe her early twenties maybe late twenties with chronic cluster headaches and chronic migraines. she's in pain 24/7 she is currently looking at options as far as medications go and will be starting to see a new doctor very soon a lot of people who want to know why I started this work ask what are cluster headaches while simply put their headaches that attack the nerve system on one side of the face. During an attack her face begins to droop, her eyes become bloodshot her nose runs on one side. She's in severe pain constantly I even have seen her do soothing rocking and turn completely pale she has tried options oxygen therapy to no avail as well as Botox injections those have also not been successful we are still on the hunt for a cure in treatment to help my sister it's a very rare thing to have someone like my sister where pain medication or any kind of treatment at the moment, does not touch or relieve her pain whatsoever but we will never give up. The information and Graphics I am sharing with you does not belong to me and I will put down and credit Who belongs to please consider educating yourselves about CH. Especially if you think you or someone you love has cluster headaches thank you so much.
PS I would also like to add that the treatments out there that treat cluster headaches and migraines do work for some but in this particular case, they did not work for my sister. That does not mean I discourage anyone from furthering their medical knowledge or looking into medical practices that would help them deal with these conditions and live the fullest and best life possible. Also, I highly recommend that you do not self-diagnose yourself with any information you find on cluster headaches please consult with a trustworthy medical professional whom you have a rapport with or find one that specializes in cluster headaches and migraines that you can go to please do not self-diagnose thank you.
