There is no cure for this condition, but because symptoms tend to change over time there are ways to control this condition. It is vital to speak with your doctor, and track any changes to your symptoms. So that you can adjust your treatment plan accordingly.
What Are Some Symptoms Of Asthma?
Shortness Of Breath
Chest Tightness Or Pain
Wheezing when you exhale (a common sign in kids with asthma)
Trouble sleeping caused by any of the pervious signs
Coughing or wheezing worsened by a virus, cold, or flu
What Are Some Signs Your Asthma May Be Worsening?
Your symptoms become more frequent and bother you more
Increasing difficulty breathing-checking how well your lungs are working when breathing using what is called, a peak flow meter
The need to use your rescue inhaler more
Certain Situations Can Also Cause A Person’s Asthma To Flare-Up
Exercise-induced asthma, which may be worse when the air is cold and dry
Occupational asthma, triggered by workplace irritants such as chemical fumes, gases or dust
Allergy-induced asthma, triggered by airborne substances, such as pollen, mold spores, cockroach waste, or particles of skin and dried saliva shed by pets (pet dander)
