New Topic Podcast Episode

Brand new topic episode is now streaming On The Many Faces Of The Abled Podcast, Topic Sun Allergy. Listen now! Next show will be on 6/29/19 Topic Headache/Migraine Awareness Month

Did You Know June Is Headache/Migraine Awareness Month!?

For thoes that do not know. I began my advacy work, and professional writing career in hopes to get the word out about a condition that I have a personal connection to. Nine years ago, my sister was diagnosed as a chonic cluster suffer, as well a chronic migraine suffer. And like most invisible conditions people assume that the condition, and symptoms, pain ect are made up or exaggerated. It's time to erase the misconceptions, stigma, and assumptions. We need to start to take this more seriously, and educate, find more acceptable treatment options, and please stop blaming the person with any condition. It is not something anyone wants to have because they want attention just like it's not "just a headache."
