Recovering Addict, and Recording Artist TW1TCH has his Eyes set on spreading his message, of "we do recover" even further By teaming up with Nick Morgan, From Crush The Epidemic

I first came across rapping artist TW1TCH in 2016  and I instantly wanted to work with him, and get his message of “we do recover.” Out there on my blog, The Abler. TW1TCH is a recovering opiate addict. With four years of sobriety under his belt. Recently, TW1TCH publicly came out to his fans and those he works closely with that he uses marijuana to help with his anxiety.  As a result of that TW1TCH has lost all his endorsements, as well his spot on the No More Heroin Tour. And once I found this out Immediately reached out to him. Asking, how I could help.

While I know that some may not agree with the use of marijuana, or you may say that I am glorifying drug use. I assure I am not. I am simply supporting someone one in their personal decision, to be honest with those around him. The following is a collaborated piece, TW1TCH, and Nick Morgan, founder of Crush The Epidemic. Have come together to share with all of you what brought them together, You can find both TW1TCH, and Nick’s music anywhere where music is sold. Including, TW1TCH’s latest album, Samsara.  You can also connect with TW1TCH on social media.

TW1TCH and Nick have currently teamed out to tour together. TW1TCH has a gofundme campaign to help with the cost of the tour and other expenses.

TW1TCH:

You recently turned down a very large opportunity and instead organized your own tour to be able to stay true to your own message. Was this a hard thing to do after working for so long?

Not at all. I support any and all ways of working towards a better life in recovery. That has always been my message, and although it may not be my specific story, I respect and admire anybody working their own program. I will never sacrifice my integrity for a check… No matter how large. With every lost opportunity comes a new blessing and I have proven that. I’m excited to hit the road with Nick and do what we do best… Spread our message of experience, strength, and hope.

This tour is unlike any other. Can you explain a little bit about what you’re hoping to accomplish?

We want to meet those that are struggling face to face. Most artist will only tour for performances or the right amount of money, but I am more about meeting the people

I am deeply honored to have the opportunity to work with TW1TCH again. And even more honored that he has chosen the abler once again, as his platform to spread his message, that "we do recover." Thank you, TW1TCH.  The photos used in this piece are curtsey of Tw1tCH and Nick.

NICK MORGAN from Crush The Epidemic:

1. What inspires you to do the job that you do regardless of the ups and downs?

Losing my best friend to a heroin overdose in 2014 was a real wake up call. Being able to help others so that they do not have to lose their life to this awful disease is what keeps me going. Knowing that I can help someone go from a place of complete hopelessness to a place where the know that recovery is possible is extremely inspiring.

2. What are your plans for hitting the road with Tw1tch? What can we expect from the two of you?

We plan on going out there to plant a seed of recovery in as many people as possible. We want to be able to bring a message of recovery and hope to everyone and show them that they are not alone and that there is a solution.

3. If all goes according to plan, what are your plans for the future and your message?

To get as many people involved and making a difference as possible. I want to expand Crush The Epidemic to a national campaign so we can broaden our audience and ensure that everyone out there has a chance to hear a message of hope and recovery.
